Extract Audio from Video (MP4 → MP3 and more)
Extract just the audio from a video file and save it as MP3, M4A, or WAV. All processing happens entirely within your browser, so your video is never uploaded. Use it with confidence.
How to use
Drag & drop (or select) the video you want to pull audio from, choose an output format, and press “Extract audio.” The conversion engine loads only on the first run, after which the audio is written out. You can play the resulting audio right here and download it with “Save.
Note: All processing happens entirely within your browser. Your video is never uploaded to a server. Pick the format that fits your needs: versatile MP3, M4A for Apple devices, or uncompressed WAV.
FAQ
Is my video uploaded?
No. Extraction happens entirely in your browser (on your device), and your video is never sent externally.
Why is loading slow only the first time?
Because the in-browser conversion engine (about 24MB) is loaded only on the first run. After that it's cached, so it's faster.
Does it work with large videos?
It depends on your device's memory. Videos over 1–2GB may not work, so in that case trim the clip shorter before trying.
Which format should I save in?
For general use MP3 is best; choose M4A for Apple devices like the iPhone, or WAV if you don't want to lose any audio quality.
Is it free to use?
Yes, it's free with no sign-up required.
