How to use
Drag & drop (or select) the file you want to convert (Excel, CSV, or JSON). The format is detected automatically and the contents are shown as a preview. If the Excel file has multiple sheets, you can pick one. Then just choose CSV, JSON, or Excel as the save format.
Note: all processing happens only inside your browser. Files are never uploaded to a server. CSV is saved as UTF-8 with a BOM so it opens correctly in Excel without garbled characters.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. All conversion happens in your browser (on your device), and files are never sent anywhere.
Does it support multi-sheet Excel files?
Yes. Once loaded, you can pick a sheet. CSV/JSON exports the selected sheet, while saving as Excel writes out all sheets.
My CSV shows garbled characters in Excel.
This tool saves CSV as UTF-8 with a BOM, so it opens correctly in Excel as-is.
What JSON format is supported?
An “array of objects” (where each row has the same keys) is supported. The keys of the first item become the column headers.
