QR Code Generator
Create a QR code just by typing a URL or text. Japanese is supported too. Save it as PNG or SVG, with everything processed entirely in your browser.
How to use the QR code generator
Type a URL or text into the box and a QR code is generated instantly. Use it for URLs on business cards, flyers, and slides, links to in-store menus, event check-in, and much more. Choose “Save as PNG” for a ready-to-use image, or “Save as SVG” for a vector image that stays sharp at any size.
What is the error-correction level?
QR codes include error correction so they can still be read even when partly dirty or damaged. A higher level (H) is more resistant to damage but makes the pattern denser. Use Q to H for printed outdoor use, while M is plenty for on-screen display.
Japanese and symbols supported
Since text is processed internally as UTF-8, you can turn text containing Japanese or symbols straight into a QR code.
FAQ
Can I use the QR codes I create commercially?
Yes. You are free to use the QR codes you generate. (“QR Code” is a registered trademark of Denso Wave Incorporated, but the standard itself is free to use.)
Is the content I enter sent anywhere?
No. QR code generation happens entirely in your browser (on your device), and nothing you enter is ever sent externally.
I want to save it in high quality for printing.
Use “Save as SVG” to get a vector image that stays sharp at any size. SVG is the best choice for large prints.
Is it free to use?
Yes, it's free with no sign-up required.
